MY XIMMY EXPERIENCE

Posting Tips To Earn You More Money At Ximmy - The Series
Part 1 - Choosing What To Post
Part 2 - Know Your Audien
Part 3 - Patronize Your Own

Lately, there has been some discussions at Ximmy with regards to whether or not Ximmy members should be asking the readers of their post to vote for the post they have made. As of this moment, my personal stand on this issue is that Ximmy members should be allowed, since Ximmy is paying its members to contribute, unlike in other social networking review sites that don't, most of the Ximmy members are actually contributing with compensation in mind. It's not like this is part of a presidential election or an idol vote. We are not talking here of voting rights in an Electoral College. Let's not be hypocrites here. This is the point of this 4th part in this series.

Convince Readers To Vote

Most Ximmy members are actually there to make money, myself included, while at the same time doing the regular things we would have been doing, with or without Ximmy. It's just logical that we want to make the most of the time we spent contributing to the Ximmy Community. We all know that Ximmy gives 15 points for every post that makes it to the Popular page. With that as incentive, all Ximmy members would, of course, like their post to reach the Popular page.

Now, since one of our goals when we post something at Ximmy is for that post to make it to the Popular page, it is only logical that we should convince the readers of our post, that our post is worth voting for. Of course, that entails:

1. The need for us to be posting something really interesting or useful;
2. We should be providing a very convincing description of why the link we are posting is interesting or useful. Under the current Ximmy rules, this description should be at least 2 to 4 descriptive sentences;
3 We can actually tell the readers of our post that if they found the link in the post interesting, we would really appreciate it if they do vote for our post. I don't find anything wrong with that.

By doing these three things, we will have a greater chance of actually convincing the readers of our post to vote. That's it for now, I hope you learned something new .
